Blender, high powered preferred
One of my sons loves bananas but he only eats the top half usually and is very picky about having no brown spots. So you can imagine that I’m left with a lot of half eaten bananas in my house. I just keep a freezer bag with bananas in my freezer and I add all of his rejected banana pieces to the bag. They come in handy when I’m making a smoothie like this one. I also throw any cut up fruit my kids leave on their plates into another bag in the freezer for future smoothies. We eat a lot of fruit in my house and I don’t like to waste it!
Throw the frozen mango, frozen banana, baby spinach, ginger, orange juice, and water together in the blender. Blend and enjoy!

Mango Wake-up Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful baby spinach
- 1 1 inch sized piece of ginger root peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 3/4 cup water
- Blend all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
